Default My Experience With The Fluppi

FLUPPI!!!

This last weekend my wife and I attended the Home Show in our area. It is a display of area businesses related to home improvement, products and service businesses related to the "home". Well it was great, and I get a real charge out of seeing new products and services and how they are sold, what is HOT and what people are buying.

This year my favorite was the "Fluppi".

The Fluppi is a simple hand vacuum that works like a hokey or bissel with a simple rotary brush on the bottom with a tray for dumping the dirt. You can use it in your car, furniture, boat etc. They sold for $7.00 and I bet a dozen or more people were crowding around buying them up! Impulse buying at its finest. They had a few lined up on a carpet table and they let the PEOPLE try them out.

Now, I am sure you could find a wholesale source for these things, they are made in Germany and I bet you could get them in quantity for $2.00 each? Maybe less? I don't know but if they sold them for $7.00 and were making $5.00 per Fluppi, they made no less than $60.00 profit in about 10 minutes.

What if you brought a dozen of these into an office building somewhere I bet you could sell 50 or more per day quite easy. Handy little things.
Impluse item buy. Priced right.

Well, I could go on about selling the Fluppi, but the point is this product was HOT with people at the Home Show.

Default See the Fluppi here... http://www.growwiser.com/fu/

Thanks John,

And I think you're right, a good salesperson could probably go office to office, or door to door. http://www.growwiser.com/fu/

This is one of those items that a DEMO sales.

PS. Radio/Flashlight combos might be a big seller two...and for what it's worth...maybe the CB will make a comeback too. Especially if it is coupled to an "emergency" light/radio/air purifier.

I know where you can get them for $1.25 each. I did a search on Copernic and found 21 sources. The first one I looked at was offering them for the $1.25 I mentioned above. Their website is: http://www.hhshopping.com/fluppi.htm

I did not look at any other sources. Who knows ... there may even be some cheaper sources.

I hope this helps.

Randy

This works for me!

Randy,
Thanks for the link.
Strikes me at that price with an imprint on it, this could be a great ad specialty product for the realtor and or insurance marketplace.
Keeps their name in front of their prospect as a useful little gadget.

Default First "Freedom Fries" Then "Freedom Bread"...

Are we now going to call it "Freedom Kissing"?
