![]() Is that "My First 60-Years In Advertising"?
If so, it's far from "out of print". Runs anywhere from $19.95 for a paperback, to $225 for a new hard cover copy. Found several of his later works too. All it takes is a bit of searching. ![]() Pete |

![]() Pete your mixing the books up. You cannot find "My First 60 Years in Advertising" by Maxwell Sackheim for less than $244.00. The other book is ""Billion Dollar Marketing by Jerry Buckanan as Sackheim was in the other world when this book came out in 1995. It is about Maxwell Sackheim ideas though. You can get that for $55 or less I think. I think I paid $60. It was worth every penny. If I could only write like him would be happy as a pig in mud.

![]() $96 is still lot of money. I sell my ebooks of public domain for only $19.95 or sometimes $29.95. That is the most expext for my business in a box which cost double because it has a lot of public domain worth more than Double that amount. I can keep them so low because I only sell pdf files.

Joe, Thanks for talking about ebooks vs. hard copy books. (Apples vs. Oranges) You wrote: (in a nutshell) Quote:
The 3 links that were provided were priced BELOW $200. Considering that the lowest price found was $96, it's STILL better than the $244 that you said that was the minimum price around and "can't be found for less." Ebooks are, of course, different from Hard Copy books and can be priced much lower. You have a few options that I can see: 1. Contact the Publishing Company of the book to find out if You can purchase it direct at a discount, and/or, IF they have it in ebook / downloadable format at a lower price, OR 2. Go to Joe's Local Library and find out if they have some sort of system where the book can be ordered from another library (IF it is in their library system, of course.) Not sure what state that you're in, but, chances are, IF it's near a big city, the book (if it's in circulation,) can be ordered for rental (and probably without a fee.) Best of Luck. Christopher |
