My Hand Tells Me There Must Be A Higher Intelligence

Some people believe in a God, some don’t…. Each to their own.

Some gaze at the stars, the world around us and think there must be or have been a higher intelligence that designed all of this wonder.

Much closer to home I see evidence of a higher power.
I just look at my own hands, palms open and wonder.

After 41 years on this earth…. Not a physical stain do I see on my skin. Of all the substances, chemicals, dyes, paints I’ve handled during these years…. None has ever left a mark, could not be washed off or removed.

Apart from a tattoo which is under the skin, a physical cut leaving a scare, or disease, nothing can stain human flesh forever from the outside. Yet, it is very easy to permanently stain the skin of a pig!

Who ever it was, who designed the human skin, millions of years ago, must have known, that man the intelligent animal, would over the centuries develop stains and chemicals to use in this world.

Yet, that higher power, had the foresight to give us a skin that would always stay clean of these manmade substances we would one day develop and handle. Even if a substance was invented, eventually you could rub off the stained skin cells and new unblemished ones would take its place…. Clean flesh once more.

I witness the great architect of the universe in the palm of my hand!
