Default Growing, Developing Artist

Hello There, Growing Artist!

See, here is the first thing you can try on.....

You have labeled yourself "Struggling Artist" so naturally what you are manifesting or bringing into being is Struggle.

It SOUNDS simple. It IS simple. Its also truth.

The first shift I suggest is to no longer accept the Struggle and embrace the "What's Possible".

I have a friend who has a theater here in *culturally questionable" Bakersfield.

He suggests marketing an artistic venture using the same principles of any other sort of business.

Here are some questions for you:

Who is your target?

Where do they hang out?

How do they find you now?

What is your primary method to reach your target?

Fill us in some more... and know there are lots of very wise and savvy people here who I am sure will respond to you.

With Passionate Gratitude,

Julie Jordan Scott

Default What's In It Re: Struggling Artist

I agree, Julie shared a good point.

Work with other people - they'll think 'What's in it for me?' - so come up with benefits for them. For example, if you work with a charity to help them raise funds. What goes around comes around. You'll be rewarded in some way because that's the law of the universe. God is a rewarder.

Why do your current customers buy your album? Think along this line and you can target more of the same people. How do you make them feel (emotions)?

Is there something entertaining that you can do to be positively newsworthy? The press wants to entertain their readers. Any local news/events you can tie in with your album?

Hope it helps,
Alexander
