![]() Good Morning to all,
I'm interested in buying reprint rights for all types of products. These will be sold in Australia through traditional mail-order. I'm interested in all topics "except" the following: 1. Internet marketing.( Not to good on the internet, so would not understand what I was selling ) 2. Mail order. ( Know all about it ) 3. Get rich quick scams.( No-one is interested in quick anymore.) Would appreciate any help. Thanks for your time. Jenny |

![]() Jenny,
I certainly understand the idea of "reprint rights" the problem is that I think it is going to be hard to make money with any kind of reprint rights type product. I wouldn't consider a reprint rights product unless you were given an exclusive AND the product's distribution was tight so it wasn't ending up on Ebay by reprint rights holders in other parts of the world. Personally Jenny I think the information market is darned tough with so much free and low cost info available over the net. You would need to target very, very tightly niched markets where the prospects couldn't find similar information easily. I think most reprint rights products are way too general to be profitable due to all the competition. Take Yoga for instance (this is an example I'm pulling out of another marketing book I've read recently). At one time the market was underserved and virtually anything printed about Yoga sold... but now there are so many books that I doubt more than a few percent of them are profitable. The market is way over saturated as are many markets. Why not consider a physical product of some type other than an information product? I would guarantee there are products out there that would be profitable for you. Most manufacturers would supply you with small quantities to get started... heck they're looking to expand their business also. Importing also offers you great opportunities. Why not consider importing from the U.S. or exporting to the U.S.? There are always products that are popular in one part of the world that aren't yet popular in another. These present opportunities to you. Take care, Mike Winicki |
