![]() Writing sales-letters and ads is an agonizingly slow process for me. I was considering buying one of the gurus 'fill in the blank" type software programs to see if I might ease my pain.
The two I'm considering are Yanick Silvers "instant sales letters" and Marlon Sanders "push button sales letters". Anyone had occasion to purchase and use either of these? Recommend one over the other? |

![]() Heart Realm,
Thanks for asking about the Instant Sales Letters products. Don't know about Sanders' thing. But Silvers' is basically a collection of one page letters a business could send out to clients - thank you letters, customer only sales letters, etc. The idea is, thus, you Modify them to suit your business. And I'm pretty sure you can find plenty of sales letters online you could Modify to suit your product. The Simplest sales letter to write is a List of Bullets... A small couple of sentences as intro. Then... if it's a book you are selling you could have "Here's just a sample of what's inside..." Bullet list. All this for $x. Click here to order. Simple. Of course, how you change the finer details depends on what you are selling. So what Are you selling? Michael Ross |

![]() I wrote a report/ebook (about 50 pages) on how to sell a house as a "rent to own". It's about the advantages (from a sellers point of view) of the rent to own sales strategy and what you need to know to do it yourself. My biz partner and I sold a few houses using this strategy and we learned quite a bit from our experience (as opposed to simply reading, studying, online research, which we did as well of course). We were usually able to find a tenant buyer for our houses (about a dozen times now) within just 30 days of starting our advertising. There are advantages and disadvantages to this sales strategy, but I'm sure there are plenty of sellers out there right now that could benefit from what we learned. Unfortunately, I'm not much of a writer (hence my initial post) ... but I'm working on it . |

![]() Although I think both Yanik Silver and Marlon Sanders are top notch marketers - I would have to agree with Michael and Pete on this one. You don't need to buy those products. They are very basic.
Instead, follow an easy format of writing sales letters. Format # 1 1. Headline 2. What is the problem people face 3. What solution are you providing? 4. Pricing 5. FAQs Format # 2 1. Headline 2. Sub head 3. If [the problem people are facing]... then you must read this letter. Because [solution]. 4. Bullet points 5. More bullet points 6. Pricing 7. Sprinkle testimonials I've used the both of the above 2 formats for various sales letters. While it won't give you a control beating sales letter that are as good as ones written by the pros (Bencivenga etc) - they do pretty well. And are very quick to write. Its always easier to write FAQs or Bullet Points than paragraphs. |

![]() Thanks for the replies to my post!
I've been doing a little research and following your advice. The post/sites referred to were a great help. The "10 Part Letter Formula" otherwise referred to as the "naked truth salesletter" by Dean was excellent. Another I came across was an article by David Frey entitled "12 Step Foolproof Sales Letter Template". And then another great article written by Dan Lok (I think) entitled "Tricks of The Trade". All very good, very helpful! |
