![]() Sure,
We rent margarita machines to people having parties, weddings, or corporate events. The type of machines we rent have two bowls so you can put two flavors in or one with alcohol and one without. We drop off the machine the day of the event and pick it up the next day, then clean it and prep it to go out again. We service the Austin TX area (Around 30 - 50 miles from our location) with free deliveries for destinations < 17 miles. You can see all of the nitty gritty at my web site http://www.margaritaplanet.com. Cheers, Larry |

I hadn't heard of margarita machine rental... I had heard of chocolate fountain machine rental to weddings, so this seems like something along similar lines... Fascinating stuff! ![]() Makes you wonder what else can be rented out for profit... (One unusual rental business I can think of is the handbag rental business... http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121685954183779415.html ) Thanks for sharing a little of your story... ![]() Best wishes, Dien |

![]() Larry,
Went to your site. Great site. Now I don't know if this is part of your company's long term goal, but have you considered franchising your business model? There are so many destinations and you could setup a prospectus of sorts for investors and those wanting to start a business from home. You would be the Franchisor and you would license your name, provide equipment and training, and collect monthly royalties. It's quite unique what you offer. Locals along the Gulf Coast from Southern Texas to Southern Florida could be a prime target market. Just a thought! |

![]() I actually have been thinking of franchising our model. It is an easy business that could be started with around $8K capital providing the business owner has access to a truck or SUV for delivery. I was actually thinking more along the lines of distributorship using the logo, web site, wholesale product supply lines and business model for a one time setup fee and then an annual service fee for updated forms, documents, and web services.
