![]() Worms...go for it!
I did a search on biographies and there are some extensive sites online...but the problem as you stated: the biographies should list the websites of the people... Well it's just a matter of time before there is a search engine which showcases just biographies and personal websites...In the mean time start with these...you're right this is very time consuming, but with the help of a techie who knows "spiders" you could form a relationship to build the world's largest search engine for biographies; Sorry to break up these posts but this project was more involved than I thought it would be....thought some others might be interested in biographies as well... Other resources: http://www.biography-center.com/ http://amillionlives.com/ http://www.infoplease.com/whowho.html Good luck with your project... > Is it just me? > I'd really like to have a Who's Who on the > Internet. > Perhaps on CD, so I could just open a > category and find 100 or so sites or people > doing such and such. > Is this too much to ask? > The Search Engine way of finding people and > sites is too dang TIME consuming. > An example: I'm tracking down all the > Teaching Golf Pros that are ON-LINE. > What happens in the Search engine is you get > the same sites popping up... > So, what I want is a Who's Who...so I can go > to the Golf Section...go to the Teaching > Pros...and there would be 100 or so that I > could simply point and click. > Any of you want to do this PROJECT?
