Thanks, I needed that. :) In order to add a little credibility to the recipe promotion, I have added a link to a webpage about the "soup kitchen" that I am trying to help. There is a picture and some facts about the operation... I wish there was a way to send the money directly to the "kitchen"--some folks who don't know me might go to the recipe page and think "yeah, sure you're going to give all the money to charity--you must be crazy to think I'm going to send you MY money..." It reminds me of the story about Mike Enlow offering to give away $100 bills if you just sent him the FEDEX shipping costs for overnite shipping...nobody took him up on his offer until he re-wrote his ad and explained who he was and why he was doing it... I guess I need some kind of bio page with a picture to lend a little more credibility, and I may work on one...but let me warn you...I'm a fer piece from being anywhere close to being as perty a sight as Ms. Julie or Ms. Linda. So anyway, if you would like to find out more about the "soup kitchen", go to http://www.i-65.com/kitchen.html Or you can go back to the recipe page, and go down the page and click on the "soup kitchen" text link. To those who have responded and made a donation to the "kitchen", I greatly appreciate it. I pray God will richly bless you for your thoughtfulness and your generosity. Be blessed, JDB Food for Thought |
