![]() I wanted to pass along a website that is a funding platform for creative ideas: Kickstarter. It is not intended to help you start a work-at-home business in the strictest sense, but it can give your project/idea visibility and possibly even get it funded by backers. It is legitimate (mentioned on National Public Radio and in the New York Times, where I came across it), and there is no risk/cost, other than the investment of your time, to put your project out there. Browse through some of the pending and successfully funded projects--it's amazing what's out there!
I am an occasional poster here, so I'm unable to post any URLs with this message, but a search for Kickstarter will easily lead you to the site if you're interested. If you decide to submit a project proposal, I have some advance tips for you--a project of mine is currently on Kickstarter. Cindy Dunn Founder, The Foreign Language Library Online (FLLO) |
