Default Webinar service....

does anyone have any experience (and can recommend) a good webinar service? Most seem to be pretty expensive, and I would think that there would be a good deal out there some where....

thanks...

Pappy,

Some excellent Affordable options to review throughout Anita Campbell's great resource and a whole lot more...

Most of the lower cost webinar services work just fine, as long as your signup numbers of participants to your webinars are of a reasonable sized attendance...

Pappy,
... depends what you feel is inexpensive ... I have used gotowebinar.com for 2 years and never had a total failure ... and a couple of times only with garbled speech and that sorted itself out after a reboot ...

Seems that the problems were with a slow link on my side as a host (through mobile link) with Skype running in the background.

What is nice is that people can also phone in internationally to local numbers in their countries. So their costs are low and it allows people to connect that want to use a phone and are not at a pc.

I have been a guest on some other systems and have not been impresed enough to change ...

If you just need a dozen connections, use Skype.

If you host webinars with poor speech quality, you will piss off the listeners ... and that might cost a lot more than the monthly fee ...

Pappy,
I have never given a webinar but the last two I attended where given from http://www.gotomeeting.com/. I can say as an attendee they work out very well. Easy to sign into and never any issues. The price...? They have monthly fees but you will have to decide if they are expensive or not. I guess a lot would depend on if you charge for the webinar or if it's free or if there is an upsell down the road.
