![]() Ok -- we all know what's going on in Mexico -- drug gangs taking over, blood in the streets, etc.
So -- how it is POSSIBLE that the Mexico tourism board's new SLOGAN for Mexico (in their ads that appear here in America) is... "Mexico -- THE PLACE YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW" Are you KIDDING me -- under the circumstances, that's the exact slogan the top "Tonight Show" comedy writer would've come up with, as a J-O-K-E !!! S'unbelievable. -- TW |

![]() Here's what I would suggest as a better tagline...
"Mexico -- Bring Kevlar" |

![]() I don't get to use that obscure joke/pun very often -- so thanks for the opportunity!
Cheers. -- TW |

![]() reminds me of a large billboard by Kroger which has a smiling young lady , gesturing to the text..which read
"I get my gas at Kroger" kept it up about a week...idiots had a gold mine, video on youtube, etc. but I couldnt reach the marketing guy in time. a video of that would have gone viral. tons of giggles and free advertising, IMO. |
