![]() Hey fellow Sowpubers.
I hope everyone had a great holiday season. I was wondering if anyone could help with a question on using Chrome and Explorer. I've used Explorer for so long now that I have a ton of bookmarks saved. I need to "flush" some of them down the toilet, but I want to save the rest. I like having a tool bar with Explorer but it constantly causes my computer problems. I mean ALOT. I never have problems with Chrome and as everyone knows its lightning fast compared to Explorer. I would like to either... A. Fix Explorer so that is operates fast and doesn't lock up or... B. Somehow export/import all my bookmarks from Explorer to Chrome. Anyone know of a good online tutorial for doing that? Thanks for the help and let's make 2011 the year we all set ourselves free. ![]() I have some issues on my Windows laptop when using Chrome in that it inserts Javascript garbage into emails with Hotmail. All other programs are ok. I like Hotmail as they have the best spam filter by far, in my opinion that is ... lol ...
In the past I struggled with Firefox hogging a lot of resources. I use all of the browsers, depending on my mood and what I need to do. I also have a Mac. I do not like Safari too much though. So I use http://www.xmarks.com/ to keep everything synchronised beautifully. Works like a charm and zero work and keeps the laptop and Mac happy. And while getting Xmarks, get Lastpass and it will also synchronise all your passwords and really save a lot of time. Hope that helps, Conrad |
