Thanks for the feed back, that gave me some good ideas.

About the benefits, I think the toxic mold idea is one of the strongest.

But where I live an even better one is "Ice Dams"

We get a lot of snow up here in Wisconsin and when a homeowners attic is not insulated the heat from the inside of the home causes the snow to
melt off the roof, and then when the downspouts are clogged up the water backs up and freezes, thus creating an "Ice Dam"

But I think the main benefit would be not having to clime a latter twice a year.
