Hi Gordon,

I don't have any kids, but not too long ago I did share an office with another physicist only a few years older than me....

He had a young son. He told me that, since his son was born, his life changed....

His son had brought new meaning into his life. It made his life even more worth living....

He and his wife also now have a daughter, which they are ecstatic about!

So, while I'm not there yet in my own stage in life, I can see a glimpse of what you mean....
