Hurricane Sandy
Hi, folks - I hope all friends in Eastern USA and Canada escape the worst of this horrible hurricane .... I have to say that I also hope that the storm blows itself out before it reaches across the pond!

New York and surrounding area looks dreadful just now; it's not going to be a quick fix for some of the problems. They're obviously going to have to check the subways, electricity supplies and more. I guess it's going to involve quite a lot of extra work - but who is going to foot the bill??

Hard to understand [Human] nature, Especially during Difficult times!
Have a wonderful friend flying Vancouver to Toronto onto to Peru currently... Hoping all Goes well for Everyone regarding Hurricane Sandy... We'll keep our [Prayers] going for Everyone to remain Safe, sound and Healthy... Currently! Dog sitting on an ''Amazing'' Ocean front Re-Treat, managing misc. properties for that friend in the Gulf islands, Vacation of some sorts... Rain, Rain and more Rain, Winds and storms as the winter season (Gets) closer and closer... Except for a few Power and Electricity issues here and there... Full internet Satellite, {Wifi} keeps us Fully connected & Wired to the Entire world of business and information... At least at this moment! ...  Otherwise a Good ol' Wood burning stove, misc. business related reading materials, Nature, man's best friend, a few other Things will keep us Going in the meantime & between time... Hi, Phil - I am wondering how Cornell's riding out the storm - he's in Ontario - and we have other friends, acquaintances and customers who live in the affected area.
