![]() Hey Boyd,
Awhile back, you asked the board what the biggest lesson they learned from Gary was. I had to think for a while. I think it was his story about the hamburger stand...to be successful, you need a starving crowd! i.e. look for the crowd, then sell them what they want. |

![]() Hi Boyd!
> Remember Halbert's ad for Tova that said > something like "We categorically deny > that this perfume contains illegal sexual > stimulansts!" > Check out the Isuzu ad below. Thanks.... As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.... :) The ad sure induces curiosity.... Even though they "categorically deny" it, it still makes you wonder.... :) By the way, Boyd, that "Adflip" site is a great resource.... I can see myself spending hours going through those ads. Thanks. :) I found an ad by Joe Sugarman (look for JS&A), ads by Drew Kaplan (look for DAK, but ignore "Kodak"), and ads by Richard Thalheimer (look for the Sharper Image).... All great copywriters.... The site is a joy to peruse! :) - Dien Adflip web site.... |
