![]() Jim Straw is no longer with us... But his words of wisdom live on.
Here are "11 Important Facts I Learned That Will Get You Rich" by Jim Straw... The first one is - "I learned very early in life that the ONLY way to make money was to “sell” something … either a product or a service … something people wanted or needed — or do something for them they couldn’t, or wouldn’t, do for themselves." You can read many more words of wisdom from Jim at the following link... http://www.masterkeycoaching.com/201...j-f-jim-straw/ Best wishes, Dien |

![]() Here's one of my JIM Straw stories.
I used to write a monthly newsletter called "Las Vegas Business Secrets Exposed". One day - all of a sudden - I began getting notifications of new subscribers that was SO "not normal". I was generally getting around 3 to 5 subscribers a day - but THAT day I got 169 subscribers - and it continued for a while. I actually thought it was a fluke - so I emailed one of the "new subscribers" to see if they were real - and if so - how did they find me. I found out that my newsletter - had been recommended by some guy named Jim Straw - in his newsletter. At the time I didn't know anything about him - so I contacted him - and thanked him. Jim then told me how he had somehow got a hold of a copy of my Las Vegas newsletter - was impressed with it's content - and that's why he had commented on it in one of his newsletters - and included a sign-up link. From there we had an email relationship for quite a while. Then - one night I got a call - and it was him - he was in Las Vegas for a wedding - and wanted to know if I would have dinner with him and chat about business ideas. At the time I was still new to the whole marketing scene - and I was SO INTIMIDATED at the thought of me - a nobody - actually talking face to face with him - I turned him down. I've never forgotten my HUGE mistake in not driving over to meet with him that night. He was a REAL guy - and I miss him very much. Thanks for bringing back a few memories - even if one of them is a bit painful. John Palma |

Thanks for sharing your memories of Jim Straw! I remember emailing Jim Straw when my mother was quite ill... He encouraged me to take care of her. Jim pointed out - you can't get another one! (I ended up being her primary carer for a couple of years, until she passed away... However, I think I made her life easier during those last couple of years...) I agree with you - he was the "real deal"... I know my life has been enriched by having known him (even though it was just to a small degree), and also having read his "stuff"... I also never met Jim Straw, though it's something I wish I could have done. However, I'm grateful for the interaction (small as it was) that we did have... Best wishes, Dien |
