Default Get Rich Quick--Post ONE. It begins.

Wanna Get Rich Quick? OK.

But, here is MY problem...I have no idea what RICH means to YOU.
NOR
do I know what is QUICK for you. So, how can I possibly tell you how?

I can't (until we get on the same page with the same definitions). Until then,

we'll look at money amounts and the speed it has taken some to make these amounts.

On my ABOUT page: http://www.gjabiz.com/about.html

You'll see a pic of me inside a box waving a flag. That was taken at the East Drive In Flea Market in Tallmadge, OH. We sold over 1200 giant chocolate chip cookies that day and netted 1000 bux.

It was far from RICH, but at the time, it sure felt like a lot of money. The backends from that one day inside a box, was several thousand dollars. You'll see us as the Easter Bunnies in the pic below that. We made 5,000 bux over the Easter weekend. Again, not rich...but for us at the time, it was a lot of money in a SHORT period of time.

Here is the story behind it, and below the Navy pic (I'm third from left) you see one of the stories about our business in the college paper.

Another 1000 dollar a day business was my Resumes Plus biz, where I helped people find their ideal job in 90 days or they paid nothing.

1000 dollars a day is probably not getting rich in anyone's book, all I can say is, when it was coming in, it sure felt like a lot of money.

OK, lets go on.

Bud Riggs. $25,000.00 in 30 days selling his report on Headlight Cleaning. One of my fun projects and a great time with a guy who became a really good friend very quickly.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/1we3l59z3s...ecash.pdf?dl=0

I don't think the videos work, but at least you can see what a report looks like, one which sold like hotcakes for weeks.

Boz was a stubborn old coot, who pulled the plug early on his baby, he didn't want to deal with people, although we had actually asked (I asked) a few people to write copy and be an affiliate. About 2 days into the affiliate part, he wanted out...HA!

The best day I witnessed from him DOING the headlight cleaning was 400 bux, and that took him about 3 hours in the morning, two car lots, one home visit...400 dollars and we had a taco feast for lunch.

Again, I doubt anyone thinks 400 dollars in a couple of hours is getting rich by any means, but I've talked to many people in the last month who would welcome that kind of cash flow.

Onward. Dien and I had dinner in Erie, PA, and one of our dinner companions was the very smart Ray Steinbacher. Ray and Dien got along pretty well, both far more intelligent than me...by a dumb ol dirt farmer country mile.

Raymond was paid close to ONE MILLION dollars in royalties for work he did for Green Tree Press. Ah ROYALTIES.

Now it did take a couple of years, but during the peak, Raymond was getting monthly checks of 50 to 75 THOUSAND dollars. I think he would say he felt like he was GETTING RICH QUICK.

See, Green Tree Press was one of a dozen or so small publishers who ran full page ads in magazines and newspapers, and almost all of these men would tell you when the money finally started rolling in, it was like a Tidal Wave. Often, it was preceded by several years of work.

Once Ben Suarez ran the ads for ASTROLOGY TODAY, on the back of the Sunday comics, the money rained for decades. Ben made over 250 thousand dollars in a few months...and continued his get rich quick ways...but it did take him 5 years of trial and error before he succumbed to Gary Halbert's advice to sell astrology products, which Ben hated.

And then there is Gary, who was the co-founder of a company, stayed with it a whopping 18 months and cashed out for $ 750,000.00 This might be getting rich quick in most of our books, eh?

So, what is RICH to you? What is QUICK?

Are you sure this is what you want or do you have an amount in mind which will ease your pain, let you catch your breath, regroup and continue on in the direction of your goal? Riches if you want...as long as you know what Rich means to you.

Hi Gordon,

Thanks for sharing these!

Sometimes, a person may need money, and need money fast. However, they don't have anything "prepared"...

A lot of "make money fast" businesses require some preparation. Maybe you gotta write a book, put together a report, plan a course, etc.

One thing about your Off Key Singing Telegram business was, it needed little preparation. (Not even singing lessons!)

Presumably, you could just run an ad, and away you go...!

(Though you got some free publicity too...!)

Those kinds of businesses are more unusual, I think, where you can do it really quickly, with very little or no preparation...!

Best wishes,

Dien

Default Advise you to become familar with a place called SowPub

HA!

Over the years we have posted more of these things than anyone else. Painting numbers on a curb.
Selling ads on a placemat.

Cleaning parking lots, wshing windows...and of course,

CHATTELING.

Selling things at a Flea Market, may not be able to sell cookies at this point, but the archives of SowPub are full of thes fast cash generators which require little to NO prep.

Buy a headlight cleaning kit at Walmart, put little notes on cars, get money within hours. And almost all of these little fast action little money makers COULD be scaled up with preparation and be a very lucrative cash cow.
