![]() Will the Donald also be slain by a woman to end his claim to the "Throne"?
They do share similarities, yes? Both were unlikable characters, under the influence of foreign women, in debt to bankers... bitter, little minded misogynists, fire breathing delusions of grandeur. Well, let's see if Hillary of Arkansas can match Brienne of Tarth, shall we? GordonJ Last edited by GordonJ : August 12, 2016 at 10:20 AM. |

![]() I hate to burst anyone's bubble but by comparing the size of the crowds that attend their rally's, it appears Hillary may just get schlonged by Trump just like Obama schlonged her.
The reality of the situation is that Trump is a much better marketer and salesman than Hillary and I doubt that the media will be able to destroy him. Every time they talk about Trump, they make him appear larger than life. They need to stop talking about Trump and focus on all of the many wonderful things Hillary has accomplished while serving the public and sell the public on wanting more of the same. And it looks like a bombshell of an October Surprise is hovering over Hillary (Think Wikileaks) while Obamacare double-digit rate hikes are due to hit people in their wallets just one week before election day. But Hillary says she has a lot of experience dealing with men who sometimes get off the reservation. Only I'm not so sure she can keep Trump in line. No bubbles being burst here. The choice between a turd and sh!t sandwich has never been greater. But considering the 2 or even 3 Supreme Court Justices to be appointed by the next president, even a one termer can effect the country for generations. Trump IS electable, she can win, but it may come to a single Chad in FL. There is not REASON, common sense, in Trump, it is the emotion, the salesmanship as you point out. Media which made fun of him a year ago, don't, CAN'T believe it is really happening...and it is. Those of use who prefer the turd over the sh1t sandwich, at least for 4 years, simply because she is the devil we KNOW... have to use pop culture icons, to capture voter's attention, and stimulate their EMOTIONAL state to take action. Like Keyser Soze said: "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world he didn't exist." Or the TRUMP version, 'the greatest Trump trick ever pulled was to convince America he wasn't the devil' She is very beatable, but them's the choices we got. Gordon |

I vote for the candidate. Some have been Rep, some Dems, some write-ins, independents. The Great Communicator spent most of his political life as a democrat. Then after becoming the "drug store truck driving man, the head of the Klu Klus Klan"...he went to the right. Truthfully, there isn't the clear cut difference between the two, and both parties are full of "professional" politicians, today, I'm more likely to support a Rand Paul to a Ralh Nader type... AND, I've exercised my right to withhold my vote too. Richard, my political view is more from the moon, than from the ground. My mom used to ask me, "what's that got to do with the price of rice in China"? And I get she thought it wasn't relevant to her point... today, those prices impact us all, the world. But, I don't believe we can ever return to the Rocky C days, those HAPPY DAYS, which trump would take us back to. And aside from an occasional Indians win, what with Fonzie types punching my eyes out, they were not all that happy. GordonJ |

![]() The answer is:
Clinton, Clinton, Gore, Kerry, Obama, Obama The question is: Who are your last 6 "best" candidates? Of course, it looks like Carnac1 was on your side: Carnac The Magnificent (you'll have to watch all the way to the end) |

![]() Vote for Hillary and watch things slowly deteriorate or vote for Trump and risk the world going to hell overnight. A s.h.i.t sandwich or a turd for dessert are the only choices this time around. Can we survive either one???
Let's say Trump wins, builds his wall, makes Mexico pay for it, knocks the hell out of ISIS without starting world war 3 and brings back some of our factories. Within 5 to 10 years those factories will switch from using human labor to mostly robotics and other terrorist groups will pop up with killer robots and killer drones. What if there's an EMP attack on the USA? Just one nuke can take out most of the electric grid and fry most electronics in cars and computers. Within 1 year 90% of all Americans would be dead due to no energy, no transportation, and no food. All we can do is prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Cheers, Steve |

I gotta agree with you... Personally I think both are crooks. I'm happy for others to have their opinion either way. We're in a situation as I see it where the primary voters of each party, in their wisdom, have nominated a couple of pretty bad nominees. It's enough to make you choke on your porridge. I'm an American living in Australia (as you are too Steve!)... If you are living overseas, you vote in the state where you last lived. In my case that would be Massachusetts (I spent some time at Boston University in the past). For the last 28 years, Massachusetts has always voted Democrat in the presidential election... So is it worth voting when you're not voting in a swing state? Best wishes, Dien

Well, don't stay home, you still have to select your corrupt school board president and sheriff. But as for the POTUS, forgetta about it... we OhiOans have it covered... it all comes down to us in the end, and we do rank 49th in economic growth. So as Ohio goes, so goes the nation. GordonJ PS. Even more reason to hunker down. |
