Mischief Fans Condolence

I recently learned that the creator of the unique
book Mischief Marketing, Ray Simon passed away recently.

Ray Simon Tribute

Hi Garth,

Thanks for posting that link.... I'm a big fan of the book "Mischief Marketing". It's sad that the author, Ray Simon, has passed away....

I also liked his innovative "experiments" in promoting the book. At first, he gave the ebook version away, to encourage people to buy the "printed" version. (I'm one of those who did buy a printed version - it sits on my shelf).

He also experimented with a random book "browser" on the Mischief Marketing site - I posted about it once here http://www.sowpub.com/cgi-bin/forum/webbbs_config.pl?read=7685

Although I didn't know him personally, I gained a lot from the knowledge and wisdom that he shared....

Although Ray Simon is no longer with us in person, he continues to help others thanks to his writings, which live on....
