Default Other things that stay on all the time

Hi,

It's better for computers to leave them on all the time (except during bad lightning storms or when you're in Europe for six weeks or in other obvious cases).

Other things you leave on all the time are:

Clocks
Refrigerators
The thermostat for your heating/cooling
Did I mention refrigerators?

Best,

- Boyd

Default Re: Quick Survey: Do you leave your computer on when not in use (Yes/No)?No-HDD is wearing

HDD is wearing down when on...alot? No, but it is wearing. I used to leave on, no longer. Fans have a limited life as well. My drives last longer this way. (unless they are simply made better?)
