Default Another procedure

Hi,

I can't remember if Win95 has a "repair IE" capability, but it might still be a good thing to try. While doing research on the URLMON problem I remember I saw a message from someone that sounded just like what you wrote above. I have to go on an errand now but I'll email you after I get back. I've got a couple of questions I'd like to ask you regarding issues that you and I are interested in. BTW, thank you again for the book recommendations you've made.

Best,

- Boyd

Default Win95 DOES have a "repair IE" capability (DNO)

(DNO) stands for Do Not Open because the subject heading contains the entire message.

Default How to ruin a pleasant day...

I got this bright idea to download the driver....
it went okay. Then I got another error message.
Ditto. Then, on the third one...fatal error, abort, you did something so bad I'm not even going to start again...(the offending file was
kernel32.dll)...start in dos...d: can't find cd-rom...type in its right in front of me...just kidding...okay...then tried mscdex...have you ever tried that?...its insanity...it spits out this line filled with brackets, etc. by this time
I'm able to read the autoexec.bat and config.sys
files, which apparently the computer can't...I
lucked out somehow...and could run setup again...
I HATE COMPUTERS.

Checked my email, btw..Boyd, if you emailed
me I didn't get it...it may have gotten filtered to junk mail and got automatically swallowed...
try [email protected].
