Default XP Print options? FINEPRINT?

Updated from w98 to wXP and now have lost print options with my HP printer. Any suggestions? Is FinePrint as good as it sounds? or are there better print programs for a similar or less price? I know this is not exactly a marketing question, but lots of people would like to efficiently print ebooks & web pages and I have come to respect the knowledge shared on this board. Thanks, Dave

FinePrint has been a workhorse for me AND...it saves paper and ink because most of the time I print out 2 Pages on 1 sheet and other times 4 pages on 1 sheet.

Also saves on having LESS sheets to put in folders.

I haven't found anything better than FinePrint at any price.

Hi Dave,

When I upgraded to XP my HP printer stopped working altogether! It turned out to need new drivers, which, when installed, gave me even more functionality than before.

Certainly I was able to print 2 or 4 pages to a sheet.

Check out HP's site for upgraded drivers. But here is a tip - when you have fond the right one, and downloaded it to your computer, removed the old one first. Some drivers don't like to be installed on top of old ones.

I hope that helps.

Martin.

I've been using Fineprint for 2 or 3 years, now. I've only used the more basic options but have been very happy with it. It's saved me a lot of paper & ink.
