Hey guys It seems everywhere i search i find companies claiming to be wholesellers when in fact they are just another lie. I was wondering if any of you knew where to find electronic wholesellers. Thank you

What kind of equipment are you looking for?

"Electronic equipment" could be computers,
TVs, VCRs, A/V gear...these products are not
necessarily carried by the same store. You may
need to check several different sources.

If you compare prices between a retail store and
some of the "box" stores (Wal-Mart, Best Buys),
the "wholesale" market has been distorted by the
big "box" stores. They offer a price closer to
wholesale than a retail store, but generally offer
little after-sale service. A retail store will
usually provide better customer service and
warranty coverage than the box house.

For true wholesale prices you will be expected
to buy in quantity...purchasing several of the
same item for shipment together. Not just one
at a time at a "wholesale" price.

is called the Online Drop Ship Wholesale Directory. I subscribe to his directory and I can vouch for it being up-to-date and authentic.

The guy who started is is Chris Malta. According to his site:

"Chris Malta began developing The Drop Ship Source Directory after years of frustration with all the worthless source lists that are floating around the Internet."

Duh... he's right. There's a lot of 'wholesalers' out there who are NOT real wholesalers.

Be prepared though to have a TAX ID# and Resale #. These are REAL wholesalers... and require you to be 'in business' and know what you're doing. Some have 'resller kits' to help get you started though free of charge. Many do 'drop shiping' for you, some don't.

Secret Sources 2003.. Online Wholesale and Below!

Can someone compare for me the difference
between Chris Malta's sources and info I've
bought on ebay. For instance on the wholesale
lists from ebay and a wholesale newsgroup
sites like wholesalecentral.com , bnfusa.com
and hotbuys4u.com are mentioned.

I'm wondering how this compares to Chris's offerings.

When I looked at Chris's directory I didn't see how I'd find genuine leather handbags for sale (ie Prada, Fendi, Ralph Lauren etc etc). Most of the manufacturers are in Italy.

On Cory Rudl's site he interviewed someone with a handbag site who makes a good living and said her contact gets them from overseas. Of course the source wasn't listed. But how would one find the source for designer shoes, handbags and high end items? (People do not want the imitations or fakes). Thanks.

From what I can see the way to find this is to either find the Euroupean manufacturer or someone right under him. But how is this done???


Cell Phone Accessories Online

I have been importing products from around the world into my country for around 20 years now. Never bought an ebook or list of sources ever. Heres how I find suppliers:
Approach the embassy of the country you wish to import from and ask for the commercial attache. Go see them if you can, or at least phone them up. They will have lots of information for you. Also ask for trade directories, I regularly get Thomas Exporters Register, along with similar publications from other countries I deal with, all free.
Of course the technicalities of importing and setting up new products are a lot too involved for one post, but this will get you started.

Global Sources dot com. Click the link below to go to their site and get your fill of all the original, OEM and private label stuff you want, in any and all industries.

You can subscribe to any industry you are interested in. When they have a new product listing they will then let you know.

You can also subscribe to a hard copy publication which consists of a magazine full of manufacturer ads as well as a CD ROM full of stuff.

There are other sites with this kind of information. Though more country specific - all manufacturers in India, for example.

But Global Sources should keep you busy for quite some time.

Yep, global Sources is a great interface to thousands of manufacturers. Thomas Register does the same job in the USA, various others around the place. However, dont expect much response by filling out the forms on Global Sources and requesting a bunch of info from every possible company. Generally these manufacturers are sick to death of freeloaders and small value orders that cost rather than profit them. Do some work to establish a long term relationship.

Hi:

I stumbled upon www.bnfusa.com and found some items at very good wholesale prices. It seems that they are also a manufacturer, and cater to smaller orders. I have bought cooking sets that are very good quality as well as some cutlery and drill bit sets. I have made substantial profits on all of these items. I just placed ads "for sale" in my local shopper and on the free radio call-in show "Trading Post".

There is no cost to buy from them, unlike SMC. The also have 4 color sales aids and catalogs to imprint with your name.

Make Money Buying and Selling Personal Property

Thanks for all the ideas above . I still am wondering if those top designer brands for women
(ie Prada, Fendi, Kate Spade etc etc) that have 400.00 handbags are something that a small
business could even be able to get. I know that in the report I read on the handbag person she wrote she was able to buy one or a few at a time from her supplier who would get one season old handbags from overseas.

I will have to look at Thomas Register to see if I can directly find these companies above. Perhaps the sites online that sell these genuine handbags are getting them from a middleman and still doing well.

I'm still a bit confused about Chris Malta's directory vs sites like bnfusa.co and wholesalecentral.com but I haven't found those top designer genuine leather bags in my searches. Still looking.
