Thanks, that was an interesting article.... The interest in anti-gravity stems from the research of a Russian physicist, Yevgeny Podkletnov, which he originally performed in 1992. He claims that by using a ceramic superconductor, he was able to partially shield the earth's gravitational pull, to reduce the pull of gravity on an object by about 2%. Podkletnov has not backed away from his claims, though as far as I know others have tried to reproduce his research without any success.... It would be revolutionary if it was true!
