Default Here's what Gordon did for me...

A while back, Gordon Alexander offered his copywriting services for free (woo hoo!) so he could warm up his copy skills again. I was one of the 17 that got in on this offer.

I had this product (offline), and knew I really needed to do something effective ONline with it. But being busy with the day to day, kept putting it off... and off.. and off...

Gordon's initial posting offering his services was what got me thinking it was time to do something about this NOW. ("And hey, now I could get someone ELSE to do it for me!" I thought, gleefully.)

But more than his initial offer to help, this post...

... hit me firmly between the eyes and made me wake up and feel a little shame at my own greedy, lazy behavior.

So I dug in and did my part too, like I was supposed to.

Gordon did NOT write the website for me. I did a draft, he made suggestions, I wrote another draft, he suggested a few subtle changes. I wrote another draft, he pointed out some fine-tuning that needed to be done.

As much as I appreciated the sound advice, the encouragement and kick in the pants was even more appreciated and needed.

So thanks Gordon for the offer and help. Because of it, I now have a web site that is bringing in orders daily.

Best Wishes,
Jim Erskine
