Gordon -

About the Ohio OMM Team. I had *most definitely* planned to be involved. Lemme know where and when and I'll do my level best to get there. And if we need some 'Net real estate for a discussion board or whatever, I could probably be convinced to provide that. (*g*)

Thanks for posting that for *my* benefit if for no one else.

Yes. I saw those e-mails from various sources. I looked at the website to see what he was offering. He's offering a *massive* amount of stuff for under $1,000. I think it will be interesting to see if this "retirement" is in the same vein as other marketers. I think Mike Enlow "retired" 3 times or something like that. And how about Sir Gary? Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what Mark does.

Me too.

Well, the waters have receded (*g*) and the electricity is fixed. It did take me longer than I thought it would to get that wiring fixed. And Tarheel Mama and the boys have begun moving things back to the basement. So that part of the process has begun. The good news is that I lost very little marketing stuff although I did lose some. I lost most of my Ron LeGrand swipe file stuff which was some of the best there was. I *did not* lose my vintage Ted Nicholas and Bud Weckesser (sp?) full page ads. I saw the box containing them last weekend and they appeared intact. Most of the marketing stuff was on shelves out of harm's way. Not so for the LeGrand stuff. And it looks like my Ted Thomas tax lien materials took a hit as well. I have yet to assess the damage to them. I probably also lost a lot of my Ted Thomas swipe file stuff.

So... what is the lesson to all of us? Check your sump pump(s) regularly if you have them.(Yes. Even the backup and the backup battery failed.) and make sure you protect your valuable marketing materials. Get them onto shelves so water damage is not an issue. The full page ads that I have (Ted Nicholas, Bud Weckesser, Chase Revel and others), are irreplaceable.

Backup your computer files and like your mother told you, always wear clean underwear because you never know...(*g*)

Gordon, I'll be in touch via e-mail.
