![]() I'd love to hear your thoughts on the following strategy...
I've developed an ebook and I'm considering partnering with website owners in my niche, allowing them to give my book away FREE as an enticement to gain new subscribers to their sites. All I would ask for in return is a small compensation per download (e.g $0.10 - $1.00) depending on volume. The downside to this strategy is that I wouldn't be doing any list building, unless I can figure a way to back-end it somehow. Also. I'm a little nervous about making my book available for free when it sells for $19 on my own site. Vincent Dorazio www.grocerybook.com |

![]() Vincent:
Instead of allowing others to give your book away so they can build their list, why not do a JV where they will run an ad for your product for free for half the profit? Sell for $19.95 and you each get $9.97. Also, You send the book to those who buy. That way you get to build a list at the same time. Barring that, have the payments handled by clickbank so you are both assured of getting the money. They would be affiliates, in this case. Michael Ross |
