![]() I have been in an MLM business for almost 3 years now with minimum success. I won't go into the gory details but I have over 40 people in my downline. I have always thought of this business as a sales and marketing business as my previous training has all been in traditional sales.
This week I read a very informative ebook which literally slapped me in the face. The ebook convinced me that my business is NOT a sales business. It's a PEOPLE business!! I've been expecting my people to succeed with little or no help from me. That was wrong. I'm now in the process of appologizing to them for this attitude and offering my traiining and mentorship to help THEM succeed. To many here this is not new. To me it is. Take care you all and see you at the top. John |

![]() Greetings and Happy New Year John,
With this new revelation, along with acting upon it, you will begin to see forward progress in your people. But more so, you will begin to see more productivity from yourself. You will be compelled to do more for them and in turn they will do more for you, because they see you have a genuine concern for them to succeed. Like Zig Ziglar says, "You can get everything you want in life, if you help enough people get everything they want in life." Your people want to succeed at their MLM venture so help them reach that goal. Along the way, a word of encouragement or insight passed onto them, from you, will be one more seed you've sown for their benefit. Your world will reap enrichment and your profits will grow. From here on out note that your downline people are no longer your employees, dealers, or whatever you term them to be. They are your customers. They have bought into your product or service, based upon what your have said, wrote or offered. So be in the business of making your people stellar. Pour yourself into taking them from average MLM to MLM giants. I wish you all the best in 2007. Woody Quiñones ImpactYourArea.com |

![]() Hey John,
Congrats on seeing the light! Woody's post more or less sum's up my feelings, but I've got to ask what book you read that opened up your eyes? Zig's book "See You at the Top" that Woody quoted from was one of the first and best "self help" books I first read years ago, but I have to credit David Frey with reminding me that people buy from people they "know, like and trust" and that business (and life) is all about the relationships you develop along the way. Here's hoping 2007 will be a great year for you! Steve |
