Default New Co-Reg List UNresponsive...

Hey all.

Jessika here.

I purchased 500 double opt-in subscribers
from ListOpt.com.

I've tried warming them up with content and
soft sell "p.s." stuff but I can't get them to
click at all.

Any thoughts?

Thanks bunches,
Jessika

Hi Jessica

Here is an article that may help you. Buying leads for your "opportunity" is rarely profitable. You really will have to generate your own leads, they are always much more reponsive, especially if you build a relation ship with them

Learn-How-to-Generate-Your-Own-Leads

Let me know if I can help with any of the spcific steps

Aloha Jessika,

There are so many factors that could be the source of the problem. However I get the feeling you know what you are doing, so I would say it has to be the list.

How old are the names and emails?

What was the original offer?

Aloha,

Jason

Hello Jessika,

I agree with Leo - your best bet is to generate your own leads; unfortunately, co-op registration leads can be very unresponsive, or even threatening in the sense that they might accuse you of SPAMming them, especially if you don't have them directly sign up to your newsletter list.

I agree with Jason also in the sense that it seems you know what you are doing (i.e. are experienced :-), so it could just be an unresponsive list. Like him, I'd be curious to know how old those leads were - that could be part or the main problem itself.

I might try to offer a valuable freebie or two and see if that would warm them up a bit, though you run the risk of them becoming "freebie seekers," but it might be worth a try to see if you could get some of them to turn into faithful, responsive subscribers to your list.

Hopefully, this is helpful. Good luck in turning them into responsive subscribers - if you would, let us know what you try and how it works out for you.

Take care and have a great day!

Sincerely,

Joe Chengery III

Default 3 Golden Rules from Mentors Who Mail to Opt-in Lists

Dear Jessica,

Thanks for the excellent question.

I too have rented double opt-in lists. Gotten not one nibble to a previously proven offer. It made me cautious.

When I checked with some mentors.

They laughed.

Told me some things THEY DO that I'd skipped.

#1 - Always deal on the phone with the List owner. Or the owner of the List rental Company. Never just an opt-in rental website or service person.

DEMAND you be treated as a VIP.
You don't want to be treated as a commodity.

#2 - MAKE YOURSELF VALUABLE - Tell or show them you have a proven sales letter or website offer. IF they provide qualified lists. You will b uy over and over.

THEN - ASK to see 2 or 3 offers that were profitable with the list you are about to rent.

#3 - IF you really want to be sure the list is GOLD. Ask to talk to the previous rentor. To find out how his offer did to the list.

LASTLY...

An over-all SHORTCUT...

ASK to speak to one or two happy customers. ANY buyer or client. IF they cannot or will not, You've saved your money.

P.S. - Jessica - What is the demographic or psychographic of your ideal prospect? In shorthand - what niche or industry do you sell to?
