![]() Mike, I enjoyed immensely your first newsletter.... :)
I enjoyed your longer articles and those "bumper stickers", such as "Veni, Vidi ,Visa......I came.......I saw......I shopped awhile." "Gravity isn't just a good idea, it's the law." (Hear hear! :) "Old age comes at such a bad time." I hope that many people sign up to get your newsletter too.... I'm going to look forward to every edition, to add a refreshing element to my day from the hecticness of modern living.... Thank you! :) Dien Mike Moore's MOTIVATIONAL PLUS! |

![]() Hi Mike!
I think you are off to a great start with your newsletter. I really like the personal touch...as if you are writing to a friend. Many years ago, I had the 'requirements of happiness' - same ones mentioned in your letter - printed on the back of my business cards. Except I had one more, in addition to what you list, which was...'something to celebrate'. Ditto to what Dien said about the bumper stickers. :) Some of these sayings would also be good on t-shirts. Congratulations on the successful launch of this addition to your business, I feel confident that your subscribers are going to be very pleased. Keep that 'personal touch',especially. Let us know how your stay on Trapper Lake goes, ok? Good luck on the new book you are working on. All my best wishes to you ~ Amber again, thanks for your help and > encouragement. Mike |

Will let you know how things go on Trapper Lake for sure. I'm glad you liked the personal touch. In an increasingly technological world we must never lose sight of the value of personalism. ![]() Hi Amber,
> Many years ago, I had the 'requirements of > happiness' - same ones mentioned in your > letter - printed on the back of my business > cards. Except I had one more, in addition to > what you list, which was...'something to > celebrate'. That's a really good idea.... It gives people that added incentive to keep your business card around.... Plus it brings a little bit of extra sunshine into the world.... :) The wedding photographer I met (which I wrote about recently) told me he would take some photos before the wedding, and make up business cards which were available for people at the wedding, with a nice photo of the couple whose wedding it was right on the business card.... Nobody would throw that kind of business card away.... He told me he never did any advertising, he kept quite busy purely through word of mouth "advertising" and good ideas like the business card idea.... After hearing about this, and hearing about what you did, Amber, I'm now surprised that more people don't do things like this.... Great idea, thank you. :) - Dien |
