google adwords

Hi there,

My name is krystal and i have a friend who was wondering if there was a cheaper alternative to using google adwords to get traffic for your business, i know it is a very effective way to advertise but not the only way, i do realize you can blog and write articles and purchase leads for exposure. However as far as the adwords i was not 100% sure. Would appreciate feedback if anyone has any info.

These guys have just come on the scene and I've heard raves - they don't charge anything until they've gotten you to page one of Google:

... it depends on what she's looking for ... if she's local this is ideal - if national, it's pricey (but again, they charge nothing unless they get you there).

FYI, I've heard this from people who have used them - I haven't yet myself... for what it's worth.

I agree with Kelly, it depends on what you are looking for. Don't overlook MSN (LIVE) and Yahoo paid searches as well...although you do get less traffic than Google, it can be cheaper and in many cases more targeted traffic. Selling on eBay and getting customers to look at your "about me" page then allows you to link from eBay to your web site...and it's free. Don't forget craigslist too.....especially locally.... it cost's nothing.
