I kid you not! The script went something like this.....

Homer does something stupid in front of Marge and a bunch of her friends including a Realtor lady.

Realtor Lady: That's it! I'm not giving you any more refrigerator calendar magnets!

Homer: We just throw those things away anyway.

Realtor Lady: No you don't!

Homer: Sure we do!

I laughed so hard I was almost in tears.

To be fair to the topic discussed earlier...

The reaction could be different if the calendar has your own photo printed on it - at least that would be my guess. (How many people throw away photos of themselves?)

You should have seen my refridgerator while I was in USA. It was full o magnets.

There were those magnetic alphabets that can be made into any word. Magnetic ads from pizza places. A magnetic board that the apartment complex people gave. The works.

If the magnetic ad is useful - why won't you save it?

I think there is potential in the magnetic-ads idea - even though Homer may think otherwise.

The reason I thought the Simpsons episode was so funny, was because there was a thread here (now deleted) just an hour before the show discussing this exact same thing.
