![]() Hello,
I have the highest regard for all of you who have put in the time, work, energy, and personal sacrifices to create your web business. I have received so much assistance and support by visiting this board. So, in a small way, I would like to take what I have gained from Election 2000, and explain how it can GREATLY increase your bottom line. How? Understand what Politics actually is, and how you can apply its principles to set up and run your web business. Now, some people may think, this board isn't about politics. But, please stay with me. :-) This site, if I understand everything I've read, is about nothing BUT politics. The word politics encompasses one's beliefs, principles, opinions, and views. One applies politics into their business, whether it be a brick-n-mortar or web business, through their self-administration, management, rule, direction, regime, control, and authority. But mostly...leadership. These aspects of politics determine: How you will run your business. What course of action you will take. What path you will travel. And also, how much personal sacrifice, frustration, risks, and stress you are willing to endure and bear for your goals and dreams. Politics is simply a SYSTEM. And without a strong, solid, workable system, you WILL have chaos. And, you can NOT prosper in a state of chaos. Isn't freedom to control one's time, finances, purchases, and lifestyle the dream of almost all individuals? Which is exactly what MLM offers people...and why so many people have fallen prey to the MLM SCAMS (NO, not all MLMs are dishonest, but some are). And isn't knowledge of how to gain that freedom from the knowledge, experiences, and expertise of others one of the main reasons why individuals visit this, and other, message boards? With this in mind, take this message board as an arena of a "political association with a MASTERMIND ALLEINCE!" Read, listen, study, and base your marketing tests upon the information so readily available to you. Take GREAT pride in what you have created with your decision to strike out on your own and to be your own boss! ![]() Hi Diane!
I agree with you.... The candidates search for customers.... They try to find what's in *demand* to give the people the product that they want.... What do they want? What will get them the vote? And the candidate with the most "paying customers" end up in the lead.... Those who *say* that they would buy the product, but who end up not getting out and buying it -- don't count when you look at the bottom line.... And sometimes there are pay disputes.... they may say "I didn't charge that to my credit card!" And sometimes mistakes are genuinely made.... Sometimes the customer accidentally orders the wrong product, because of a confusing order form.... They may weep, yell, and stamp their feet in anger! A dispute can get heated! They may even take it to court.... They may have a point, and they might not.... (That's for the courts to say, I guess....) Hmmm..... It's not really all that different.... :) Politics and business can be quite alike in some ways.... I agree with you very much about the need for a good system.... To me, this is like the rules that may govern a business, to protect both the consumer and the businesses.... Without this, things can be cryptic, confusing, and chaotic! And it's also true in the stock market -- which is really just a list of businesses you can invest in.... For example, I would like to invest in the stocks of companies in some of these "emerging markets" -- such as in some of the up-and-coming Asian countries.... The thing that prevents me from doing so is that many of these countries DON'T have standard accounting practices. Without that, it's harder to tell the "real" facts about a business from their reports.... And it's these facts that I base a lot of my decisions to invest on.... *If* they got standard accounting practices, things would be clearer, and things would probably run more smoothly.... It's like having a good set of rules to prevent chaos, as you said.... Thanks Diane -- you made some great points! :) Dien Rice |
