Default How do you find Joint Venture Partners?

We are looking for ways to find Joint Venture partners for a potentially VERY LUCRATIVE
advertising exchange -- with a twist.

While they would be getting paid to promote OUR products, they would also be
getting paid to promote their own.

We are an online marketing firm who has been developing and marketing
proprietary information-based products online since 1997.

We have just launched TWO unique and proprietary products which are designed
to appeal to -- and be marketed to -- the MILLIONS of people worldwide who
are interested in 1) making money and/or 2) saving money and/or 3) raising
funds for nonprofit groups (just one of many target groups).

Anyone who can tell us how to find joint venture partners, we will be very greatful.

Thank you,

Dave Mark

Default Finding JV partners...

Hi Dave,

I would say - to find joint venture partners, contact them directly. That is, don't spam, but send individuals a specific individual email.

So, first find those people who fit the criteria you are looking for. Then, contact them directly, with an individual email (not a mass spammail).

It's as simple as that. Most people will respond to an individual email, that is not an obvious spammail.

One problem I see though is that your targeting is probably too broad. If you try to be everything to everybody, unfortunately you often may end up being nothing to nobody. You just end up being "one of the crowd" - among the "millions" of others who also try to be everything to everybody as well. But if you are much narrower in your targeting, then those in your target group will be more likely to take notice.

Hope that helps!

Hey Dave,

I was laughing looking at your question, because that's exactly what I personally do every day: find JV partners for my business. Here are some ways top of my head....

1) Type in keywords that you would use to search for your own webpage in the search engines. You should come up with tons of websites that are potential joint venture partners. Then, type in the keywords you would use, followed by 'newsletter', 'ezine' or some other variation after the keywords and get an even broader list.

2) Once you have a list of JV partners, type link:domain.com for those domains in Google.com (or any other search engine of your choice) and those websites, since they link to your potential joint venture partners, are also good JV prospects themselves.

3) Actually ask the people who are my current JV partners anyone they know who they think I can hook up with. You'd be surprised how helpful some of these people are, especially if they've already made some money with you in one capacity or another, via your affiliate program or via you promoting a product of theirs to your list etc.

Good luck with your JVs... :-)
