![]() Hi all
Not sure if it was on this board, but some months ago someone told of a site which translated text from language to language and back to english. The results were good light-hearted stuff. Anyone know which site I'm talking about? Cheers Philip |

![]() Hi Philip!
I don't know if this is the site you're talking about - but you can do this (with a little cutting and pasting) on Babelfish (link at the end of this post).... Here is your post, translated from English to Korean, then back to English again.... Philip said - "Goodbye all language translation to peel, when which thing from hereupon to language the original and the English back Maj Daen it this was by the board and it was positive, Ul E for who location talked but before month. Result the good light-hearted material is Uss. Which location to it goes out and it refers and it is talking and and to peel troublesome army song it holds? Acclamation Philip" Ummmm... What was that about peeling troublesome army songs? Hmm... I wonder if that could be a business idea.... :) - Dien > Hi all > Not sure if it was on this board, but some > months ago someone told of a site which > translated text from language to language > and back to english. ![]() Hi Dien,
Glad to talk to you again. I have been to the site and put Philip's post into Korean myself. I find that the software produces neat Korean characters. But the good news stops there. The translation does Not Ever make any sense in Korean. I think that AltaVista has a long way to go. |

![]() Hi! Thanks for the grin.
I remeber testing some of the translation sites when taking a class at our local college. We always got a laugh out of the results.
