![]() I am no expert but the most important point is your headline and searchable headline. You of course should send your link to as many placed as you can via email or post on boards (no spam of course :-)
Your ad copy should be top notch, and price as a discount. web-site ? nah the whole idea behind ebay is market research and they visitors. Just my 2 cents. > Hi! > I am newbie on eBay and I have several > questions. > Could you help me please? > - What is the best way to advertise my > auctions? > - Should I start web site to increase sales? > - How to define and reach out target market > group? > Thank you! > Daniel > http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/danira0807 My Affiliate Program ![]() |

![]() Hello Daniel :-)
A few tips: Research completed auctions where similar items were sold. Pay close attention to the details - you'll often find that the exact same item brought two completely different prices. Look at their titles, their descriptions, their About Me pages... and play *close* attention to *when* they ended. Some items, such as computers & electronics for example, tend to bring the highest bid when they end on Saturday night. Keep in mind the time zone differences, and try not to set auctions to end during church time or business hours on either the east coast or the west coast (if you are targeting US buyers). Use keywords in your title - and be as descriptive as possible in the few characters you are given. Take into consideration the search terms someone would use that would be interested in your item. Talk about your product: quality, origin, your association with it, business policy, etc in your About Me eBay profile. Only give a brief intro of yourself, if you feel it necessary - the truth is that buyers want to hear what's in it for them more than they are interested in you as an individual. Be sure that you use a signature file in all email communication with bidders & auction winners. Include information about your website or the link to your About Me page, and include a PS if you would like to bring their attention to something else they may be interested in. Include your flyer, info-packet and/or business card when shipping the package. Follow up with your auction winners via email and make sure that they received the item and are happy with it. Encourage them to leave you feedback, and do the same for them. This promotes confidence in future potential bidders that you are a legitimate seller. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com and join the Discussion Groups that pertain to eBay and online auctions in general. Listen in... and ask questions there. Use the link to your About Me page in email signatures, and as your signature on message boards & forum posts. Write articles that would be of interest to your targeted market, and submit them to webmasters & newsletter publishers that have a large reach - including the link to your About Me page in your byline. Hope that helps - or stimulates some new ideas ;) ~ Lynn Free eBay Tips ![]() |

![]() I can vouch for the information you gave with my own piddily successes at Ebay auctions that you just gave Daniel a 5 Star marketing report of COLLOSSAL value.
If your sites content has the same value that you just gave Daniel, watch out because there is going to be a literal stampede of new attendee's... (Well, there at least should be from here anyhow.)hehe Very informative. Lynn's Forum |

That's one option I havent tried yet, and am asking everyone that I can to get an idea of how profitable they are, tips & techniques, etc... Self-Starters Weekly Tips ![]() |
