![]() What is good source/website for templates of common legal documents (Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Affiliate agreement, etc) that should be present on your website?
Does InternetLawCompliance.com offer templates/example that can be re-used? Where can I find these types of docs without having to pay for legal fees to create them?. Thanks, Shawn |

![]() Shawn,
Google is your best source... With the particular forms that you're looking for, simply Google around for related existing forms of 1,000's of companies and make the appropriate changes. Of course don't copy, just use it as a basic template/guideline for re-creating your own... ![]() Bet most do the same just to get the overall idea and wording... You'll find that most related documents are pretty much the same, give or take a few particular issues in accordance to each companies needs and wants. Otherwise spend a little money... It's always best to retain a good lawyer and accountant in any business which I highly recommend... Of course I'll add a legal disclaimer here. Please do Not take any of my above comments as legal advice... I'll borrow the following... ![]() http://www.nolo.com/disclaimer.cfm Phil Last edited by Phil : November 17, 2008 at 07:39 PM. ![]() Start here http://www.freelegalforms.net
I've used them many times for a range of forms. As for Internet-esq Forms, do as Phil suggested... find such forms from other websites and adapt them for your purposes. Google, "Terms of use" and find the wording you need. Google "Privacy Policy" and "Affiliate Agreement" in turn. Michael Ross |
