I need a service that will do this...

An online service that is FREE, web-based, and will allow me to store files (pdf's, etc.), AND allow me to have HOTLINKS *directly* to each stored document.

I see services that do all this and are NOT free -- but I don't see any that do it and ARE free.

Any ideas?

Try GetDropBox.com

Its main purpose is synchronizing files on various computers.

But it also has a public folder where you can add files and get a link for those files that anyone can access.

Its quite fantastic.
