![]() Hi,
Amateur traders think if they learn 10 trading techniques, they'll make ten times the money. -WRONG- Everyone thinks they have to learn and practice the best marketing methods to win. -WRONG- Everyone thinks they have to have a great idea for a product. -WRONG- Here's what's right: Traders, find any trading technique that you like, and monastically use it for two years, while refusing to learn any new techniques or anything other than how to use your single trading technique more effectively. Marketers, do a quick scan of all the possible marketing methods, and then quickly pick a couple of promotional methods that you like, and then do nothing but use them for two years, while refusing to learn new promotional techniques. Marketers, take whatever product you now have, as long as it's something you're proud to sell, and spend all your time promoting it for two years. Remember that "Sea Monkey" marketer? He ran ads for decades selling what could be called a very sucky product ("Sea Monkeys" or brine shrimp, which are basically gnats that live under water) and made a fortune. The marketer's discipline is highly admirable! As I know from the incorrect way I've handled my business development, sometimes it's more fun to be a student than it is to make money. Just my two cents, I'm not in the guru business and never will be. Best, -Boyd |

![]() Boyd,
Do you mean that doing the same thing for 1 week and then switching to another project/system won't work? Just kidding. But this thread did hit a raw nerve. Pick one of the dozen projects and get it done. As Rev. Ike would say "Its simply profound, and profoundly simple." Well, got to go. Got a book I've been trying to get around to typing.... Joe |

![]() Hi,
You're one of the few people who can tell the whole truth in fewer words than I can. I'm still looking for that book you told me about, the one about the guy who acted like a millionaire... Please write me if you know a way I can get a copy. Sincere regards, -Boyd |
