Okay, it's June, 2010, which seems like a good time to announce the...

Sowpub twitter!

Essentially this will be a way to stay updated on Sowpub related stuff - new posts, new announcements, and new profitable ideas and shared experiences...

It's still experimental for now, but if you use twitter, be sure to "folllow" it!

Some forum owners seem to use RSS Graffiti to show forum posts on their facebook profile/pages .... I guess the idea would be that an extended group of facebook friends find their way back to the forum in question.

Go for the Trifecta. Consider Facebook and Linkedin. You won't have to update all three. When you update your Twitter it also sends out updates immediately to your Facebook and Linkedin accounts. BAM! Now three times as much exposure.

For those individuals that follow social groups you increase your range of targets, which will bring more interested parties back to this forum.

Not to mention it will please the Google Gods with your incoming links.

Yes, I've been a bit slow on this particular bandwagon...

It took me a while to see the benefit of it and how to use it. However, there's no doubt that - if implemented diligently - it should increase your "exposure", particularly among those groups that use those forms of communication...
