A study in the UK shows that bonuses/discounts - especially with an image of a cartoon, give the shopper a kick that is similar to viewing pornography. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/news...hing-****.html Bloggers at Stylelist.com explained: " Scientists from the University of Westminster in England made the finding after wiring 50 volunteers and gauging their eye movements and emotional responses to shopping promotions, according to the paper. Using a scale of 1 to 10, with a score of 5 to 7 on par with sexual arousal, the study reportedly showed that getting free items with their purchases made people register high scores." I guess it might be profitable sitting down with Gordon, Glenn and some of you to make an information product (with bonuses, of course ![]() Oh, just realised - I am out of some stuff ... need to go shopping now ... Thanks so much for your links. These are 5-Star ! I could study this all day long. ... if this is your "quick selection" , I really wonder what the "extended" version looks like ... I bought Dr. Cloitaire Rapaille's book The Culture Code and it was interesting ... and then Renvoise's Neuromarketing , and Think Limbic by Hans Häsel. Fascinating stuff ... When this stuff gets going, I totally lose productivity on everything else ... |

Your link to the Yogurt Article. Led me to another about how stories Sync Up the brains of the story teller and the listener. They even had photos of the brain areas lighting up in tandem. Leader - and follower. Story teller - Listener (Are Electrically LINKED) No wonder written audio and movie story-telling is so Powerful. And why most books and movies today FAIL. Because they lack any underlying story at all! Good stuff. Glenn |
