Google Instant is new technique introduced by google.When user types a query in google , it helps you formulate a better search term by providing quick feedback. You can now adapt your search on the fly until the results match exactly what you want.

It's certainly interesting technology but if you're relying on google to drive traffic to your site, it's a scary development because people can be diverted to the first results they see rather than wait for the whole phrase to load into google search box.
