![]() I read on a couple of posts about people who started a car headlight cleaning service for auto dealers.
Is there anyone out there really doing this service? I happen to know for a fact that where I live now, this is a much needed application for cars. Any info you have would much appreciated. Keir |

![]() The issue I find with headlight restoration is most of the detail supply companies sell a quick 5 minute product that the detail kids who work at the dealership can apply and do an OK job. And for most dealers, that’s good enough. It won’t last though because their not applying a UV coating when their done, nothing to protect it. But good enough & cheap enough to make the vehicle look good until it’s sold.
I do the service at some dealers but it’s not a staple of my business, just a add-on when I see the need. Thanks, Jason http://SpokaneCars.org |

![]() Hey Jason,
I checked out your site about the paint chips. Is that service you offer a real time consumer? Keir |

![]() Hi Keir,
My wife and I do it together. So we can do 3 to 4 cars an hour. We charge between $55 & $85 per vehicle depending on how bad they are. Matching the color is the real art of the service. My wife is an artist and can nail the colors very well. Thank You, Jason |
