Default Re: No need to keep it to yourself, why just the other day...

"keeping it to myself" would be very hard.
I was a computer operator for years starting when the data went in from trays of punched cards. I have even wound reels of "paper tape".
We were conditioned to proofread everything because of the delays the smallest error (like a misplaced comma) could cause.
Old habits are the most difficult to overcome.
putting together the book I have just published on CDRom took a lot longer because of my inbuilt editor.
I have had all sorts or reaction when I have pointed out errors on people's sites.
The funniest was the guy who resonded," but you have an error at ...!".
I was glad to know of it.
The best answer I know is from another magic dealer. Paul Diamond wrote in the front of his catalog years ago;
"If you find mistakes in my catalog, please understand that we try to keep everybody happy, and some are not happy UNLESS they find mistakes."
