Default The "Brick" Challenge.

The Brick Challenge

The Master was going on a journey.
He called his servants and entrusted a ton of bricks to each of them.

Then he went on his journey.

"After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.

The first said, 'you ENTRUSTED me with a ton of bricks.
See, I have sold them wholesale. Here is $100.

"His master replied, `Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'

"The second man also came. `Master,' he said, `you entrusted me with a ton of bricks; see, I went out, found a client and built him a brick wall.'

"His master replied, `Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'

And then the fourth man came `Master,' he said, `you entrusted me with a ton of bricks; see, I didn't sell them, I didn't build a wall.

I.........

And then the fifth man came. `Master,' he said, `you entrusted me with a ton of bricks; see, I didn't sell them, I didn't build a wall, I didn't build ........, as the fourth man did.

I didn't take action.

I THOUGHT...

"WHAT WOULD MY MASTER DO IF HE WAS ENTRUSTED WITH A TON OF BRICKS?"

And THEN I went out and............

Default Interesting twist to the Parable of the Talents........

Hi Simon,

As always, your post awakens my thought processes. Not long ago I taught on the Parable of the Talents...and it has come up repeatedly since then.

Thanks for reminding me...I think I will use this to meditate and contemplate this week.

With Purpose and Passion,

JULIE
