I agree...

We owe a big debt of gratitude to our veterans, for many of the freedoms we take for granted and enjoy every day...

US Navy veteran. Long hours (12 -16 hour work days) for months on end. With no break, no days off, but what needed to be done was done.

I don't think most people in America realize the sacrifice that military personnel endure. It's awfully lonely and tedious. Sometimes dangerous and life threatening. But always rewarding.
