Take a look..



This is the DOL, the Diagrigm of Life...

Grab a blank piece of paper. Have a printer near by? Grab one from there, go ahead, this will only take a minute.

Now draw a line across the middle, like I have done above. This will be 100 YEARS. If you are 50, draw a little stick figure right in the middle of the paper.

Put YOU on that lifeline at whatever age you are today.

Now, for this exercise, we won't concern ourselves about your past, that is dealt with on a separate Pictogrigm in the SQUARE ONE WORKSHOPS...

But let's take a look at your FUTURE.

Mark a little TRIANGLE 2 years from now.

Just like above, you see the tip of the POA sticking out.

What do you want to achieve in the next two years?

How much money do you want to make?

What condition do you want your body/mind to be in?

Where will you be living? What will you be doing?

Did you read BYBA, I used a composite of people to create Lady A, a person who has been on the Internet for several years and has still not gotten around to doing what she really wants to do.

The truth is there are THOUSANDS of Lady/Mr. A's...

You may be one of them.

But do you want to be one of them in TWO YEARS?

If you continue doing what you are doing NOW, then what RESULTS can you expect?

As one of my favorite comedians, Professor Irwin Corey, used to say, "If you don't change directions soon, you're going to get where you're headed."

So where are you headed? Four years ago the Lady/Mr. A's on the net wanted to make this the means to quitting their jobs.

The Internet was going to be the SOLUTION to their misery. And what has happened to these people? They are still doing what they HATE...

Don't be one of these people. Life's too short.

Because there are other people, like Monique Harris as pointed out in BYBA that DO...

There are gurus and there are DOrus...use the SQ1 POL to become a doer.

Use the Pictogrigm FORMULA...

Know what you want...this is SQUARE ONE.

Take Action...the POA is the tool that shows you what action to take and how to take it.

Learn what works, or doesn't.

Adjust and continue.

Not rocket science. Not Quantum Physics. Not difficult to UNDERSTAND...

But it is the DOING part that has people stymied.

So, take a good look at the DIAGRIGM OF LIFE...where are you at TODAY...where will you be in two years?

Firstly, I must say what a pleasure it has been to read the posts on this site.

It’s a credit to Both Dean and Gordon and all the posters.

I haven't been on the Internet for a few years and its good to see a few familiar names still hitting the boards, in particular your posts Gordon, they are now, as they were previously, inspiring to make me want to DO more.

By explanation, I recently was in email contact with Gordon reminiscing and swapping mail order ideas, when he mentioned this site and invited me to drop by, I'm glad I did.

Back to your subject Gordon, here's the two things I do to make sure I'm a doer every day ...

1 - Every morning when I get up, I make it a priority to do one thing that day I have never done before. Something brand new. It may be something that needs to be done to reach a goal, it may be doing something in a different way than I've ever done it before, but without fail, every day I do something I've never done before!

Avidly sticking to this rule has changed my life. Just using this little technique has helped me reach more goals in the last 3 years than ever before in my life.

It may sound a little stupid but really think about it, if every day you did one thing you have never done before, then every year you would experience 365 new events, feelings, reactions and emotions. IT MAKES YOU GROW!

2 - the second thing I do every day without fail is meet one new person. Again that's 365 new people, feelings, reactions and emotions. Generally it's a total stranger, a bank teller, a salesperson, a taxi driver, doesn't matter. But here's the key ... I don't just say hello, but I make it a point of introducing myself personally, and tell that person they have helped make my day better. It's not always easy, but I tell you, It makes me feel great!!

And when I feel great, I'm a doer!!
