![]() I found a source for "REMOVABLE" Bumper Stickers. There's a new Dinner restaurant in my town however.....they've set up about 3 blocks away from our downtown.....a not-good location (imo)
What if I were to place a display on the counter near the cash register that said; "Win a Free Dinner" "Place one of our Removable Bumper Stickers on your vehicle. Every Monday we will post the License Plate Numbers of vehicles we have spotted around town. If your License Plate # matches one of those posted......you win a Free Dinner of your choice." So....what do YOU think? Will restaurant owners pay for a promotion like this? Will Diners participate by putting Removable Stickers on their Bumpers for a chance to win a Free Dinner? I'd like your comments. Thank you, Don Alm |

![]() Don I think diner owners would be game for any kind of promotion that would fill the seats as long as it didn't cost them an arm and a leg.
Free promotion to the diner owner would be even better, at least if I owned a restaurant I'd be willing to explore your idea as long as I didn't have to dip into my pocket to deep. If it was free to my business then for sure I'd say 'you betchya let's try it' It's creative for sure. If I had a nice high priced luxury car I'd be reluctant to paste a bumper sticker on the bumper even if someone told me it was removeable. Seeing is believing. However, I would take one of those 'bumper' stickers and maybe scotch tape it to the lower inside rear window so it's still visible and possibly get me a free dinner. I think your idea is a pretty good creative idea. I know radio stations used to do the bumper sticker promo years ago and it would keep listeners tuned in since every hour the dj's would rattle off a license plate # to win free concert tickets or dinner if they'd call in within 30 min or something. Way to keep those wheels turning Don. Glenn |
